Hello Exit-82-ers This will be my last post on the Exit 82 Theatre Blog. I am sad to say that I will be leaving Exit 82 Theatre Company. I am very proud to have co-founded this company and helped to bring quality community theatre to Toms River. I have had a wonderful three seasons with the company. I have learned a lot about production, performance, and about myself. I will always be proud of the accomplishments of the Exit 82 Theatre Company. Best of luck in the future! Hey Exit 82 fans! Our production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE has closed. The sets are down, the props put away, and the costumes are back on the rack. Thank you to everyone who came out to see the show - we've had such a wonderful response from the audiences every night! Hey everyone! It was so nice to see so many familiar faces at the auditions for DROWSY CHAPERONE - and it was wonderful to welcome all of the first time auditioners! Thank you so much! The Directing Staff is busy casting the show, and we will be posting the cast information tomorrow (Sunday 6/5) so DON'T MISS IT!! We are very very excited for this production. We'll be posting sneak-peaks, rehearsal teasers, and maybe even some video clips of the process once rehearsals begin so be sure to keep checking the website for updates. THREE WEEKS until auditions for THE DROWSY CHAPERONE!! We are currently finalizing details for the auditions and starting to spread the word. Although it is a little disheartening to see how many of our followers have not liked our Facebook page so if you haven't yet... LIKE US! We are also planning events and fundraisers for the summer season so look out for announcements. We hope to have a great video of an interview with our director, Sean Openshaw up on the website soon regarding DROWSY so stay tuned! We were able to pick a show, and we are just waiting to hear back from the rights companies and solidify our performance and audition dates. So...check back soon! LEGATO rehearsal went really well today. Great job, guys! Can't wait to see the performance tomorrow. Speaking of which, EVERYONE SHOULD GO SEE IT! Okay, not only is it going to be a really fun show, with coffee and snacks and such, but really. Do you have anything better to do? Probably not. I know it snowed like a week ago, but get up, get dressed, and come out at 7:00 to the Ocean County Library's Mancini Hall in downtown Toms River to support Exit 82 and the cast of Legato. Hi all! So much snow here has made our schedule crazy the past few days. We've had to move around rehearsal for LEGATO, and re-scheduled our meetings to talk about next season like four times. It has been ridiculous. But it will happen! We have tons of meetings set up for today to talk about our next show...we'll keep you updated.
