It was so nice to see so many familiar faces at the auditions for DROWSY CHAPERONE - and it was wonderful to welcome all of the first time auditioners! Thank you so much!

The Directing Staff is busy casting the show, and we will be posting the cast information tomorrow (Sunday 6/5) so DON'T MISS IT!! We are very very excited for this production.

We'll be posting sneak-peaks, rehearsal teasers, and maybe even some video clips of the process once rehearsals begin so be sure to keep checking the website for updates.

We are currently finalizing details for the auditions and starting to spread the word. Although it is a little disheartening to see how many of our followers have not liked our Facebook page so if you haven't yet... LIKE US! We are also planning events and fundraisers for the summer season so look out for announcements. We hope to have a great video of an interview with our director, Sean Openshaw up on the website soon regarding DROWSY so stay tuned!

We are counting down until another fun summer so we hope to see many new and of course old faces involved!

Can't wait to see the performance tomorrow. Speaking of which, EVERYONE SHOULD GO SEE IT! Okay, not only is it going to be a really fun show, with coffee and snacks and such, but really. Do you have anything better to do? Probably not. I know it snowed like a week ago, but get up, get dressed, and come out at 7:00 to the Ocean County Library's Mancini Hall in downtown Toms River to support Exit 82 and the cast of Legato. Trust me - you'll have a great time!

So much snow here has made our schedule crazy the past few days. We've had to move around rehearsal for LEGATO, and re-scheduled our meetings to talk about next season like four times. It has been ridiculous.

But it will happen! We have tons of meetings set up for today to talk about our next show...we'll keep you updated.

We here at Exit 82 would like to wish you a happy and healthy holiday this season. Our Exit 82 family is very excited to spend the holiday season together this year planning our upcoming events.

Next week is our winter benefit show, LEGATO. We've put together a great cast of performers (some you've seen on the stage with Exit 82 in the past and some fresh faces as well!) and Carol Lombardi (resident musical director) is accompanying them. It should be a lot of fun. The info is on our events page - please come and spend the evening with us if you are avaialble. Admission is free, and we'll be serving coffee and tea with desserts while we serenade you with some of our Broadway favorites.

We are also getting together to talk about our Summer 2011 musical this week - so we'll be crazy with meetings (and Greg's incessant arguing) and we will let you know what happens with that.

We'll be posting updates throughout the winter season and through the new year as we get closer to next summer's big production.
