Item! We officially have a performance and rehearsal space for our summer 2009 season! We can't tell you where we will be performing just yet, but we CAN tell you that we are all VERY excited about it, and we're sure you will be too!!

We are also talking with MTI (Musical Theatre International, one of a few companies that own the performance rights for musicals) about securing the  rights to our TOP SECRET show for this summer. Hopefully we will have THAT announcement for you very shortly.

Thank you for your continued interest and support, and we hope you'll stick around for our summer season! We can't wait!

EXIT 82 has come a long way and everything is falling into place! The company has filed for Non Profit status and has begun fundraising for its first season! If anyone is interested in becoming a Patron of the Theatre and making a donation, or if any business would like to advertise with us in various ways, please send an email to exit82theatre@gmail.com for more information!

Also, EXIT 82 is planning several fundraising events within the next month, so stay tuned for more information and updates!

We have made a Facebook group and with that, lots of new friends! We have also added a new section to the website called Get Involved...  and hopefully people will do just that! On the Get Involved page, applications are up to apply for certain positions on the Production Staff, and sign ups are posted for Volunteers and people who would like to be on our Mailing List. Thank you to all the people we have already heard back from! Let's get the buzz going! =)

New logo on the home page (and on the side bar on this page too). Business cards and t-shirts designed today. We've started building our financial base for our first season - stay tuned for more updates! More graphics coming to the website soon.

Bonjour! After receiving an abundance of advice from various directors and theatre producers, we decided the best route for the company would be to start as a small business. We are currently waiting for some legalities to be finalized and we hope to be up and running soon! We have an idea for our first show but we will not be revealing any information until further notice! We will keep you posted! =)

Hey! Me again. We just heard back from a couple Non-Profit NJ Arts groups interested in helping us out. They've been great with giving us some necessary information and helpful tips for starting the company. Thanks guys!

We're also currently looking into becoming an official Non-Profit Organization to help with legalities and fund raising and all of that, so we'll update you as we get closer!

New Website! 08/23/2008
 

Hey guys, just a quick note that our new EXIT 82 website is finally up and running! We'll be updating it with news about our upcoming productions and audition info as soon as we get that all straightened out. With some of our members back in New York, and others (Greg) teaching, it may be a while before we get everything up-to-date.

We are currently looking at new fundraisers to support our theatre company in Toms River, and we are also still in the process of choosing the shows for our 2009 season.

If you have any suggestions for our debut season, send us an e-mail, or a comment (on our "contact us" page). We'd love to hear from you. What musical would you like to see in Toms River? We'll post any suggestions we get in a future blog.
