Meet the Founders
Billy Cardone
Billy Cardone is currently a student at Wagner College in New York where he is pursuing a BA degree in Musical Theatre. He has been involved with theatre and dance for over ten years and has performed in various theatres all over NJ.
Favorite credits include: BYE BYE BIRDIE, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, SEUSSICAL, 42ND STREET, SINGING IN THE RAIN, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, THREEPENNY OPERA, ON THE TOWN, TOMMY, BRIGADOON, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST .
As a graduate of Toms River High School East, Billy is enthused to finally bring a community theatre program to the Toms River area, and is looking forward to expanding the EXIT 82 family.
Keely Davenport
Keely Davenport has performed for over ten years and is very enthusiastic about launching the EXIT 82 theatre company in her hometown. Keely is currently attending Wagner College in New York where she is pursuing a BA degree in Arts Administration, concentrating in Theatre, Art, and Music.
Keely has most recently performed at school and in the 2006, 2007, and 2008 summer seasons of the Premier Theatre Company, including JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR featuring Tony Award Nominee Constantine Maroulis. Moved by influential teachers and performers, she is eager to share her love of theatre with the community in this exciting, creative learning experience.
Greg Johnson
Greg Johnson holds a BFA in Fine Art, is an art teacher in the Toms River Schools, and is a ten year veteran of the theatrical arts. Greg has worked professionally in the theatre in both PA and NJ, and is very excited to be a part of the EXIT 82 family.
Over the last ten years, Greg has worked as a producer, performer, director, designer, puppeteer, special effects consultant, scenic artist, stage manager, juggler, magician, artist, board operator and crew member for over 50 theatrical productions. Recently, his work has been seen in NJ at the Toms River Schools, Premier Theatre Company, and Dreamteam Productions, and in PA at Arcadia University, The Mum Puppet Theatre, The Walnut Street Theatre’s Studio 5, and the National Constitution Center.
Favorite theatre credits include: WEST SIDE STORY, DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE TEMPEST, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, THE KING AND I, SWEET CHARITY, 42ND STREET, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, WONDERFUL TOWN, GODSPELL, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, THE WIZARD OF OZ, BLOOD BROTHERS, TURANDOT, GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, OLD TIMES, SAVAGE IN LIMBO, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, ANYTHING GOES, and many others.
Recently Greg has dabbled in juggling, stage illusions, puppet making, mask making, lighting design and improvisation, and he is excited to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for theatre and art both on the stage and in the classroom.
Kristen Johnson
Kristen is currently a student at Ramapo College in New Jersey pursuing a BA in Elementary Education and Theatre Studies. For the past seven years, Kristen has worked on and off the stage and even in front of the camera!
She has taken part in stage management, student directing, choreographing, and crew, as well as performing on stage. Her favorite credits include: BYE BYE BIRDIE, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, SEUSSICAL, SINGING IN THE RAIN, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, 42ND STREET, WONDERFUL TOWN, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and ON THE TOWN.
Kristen is thrilled to be bringing theatre to her hometown where her love for the stage began, and is so excited to be a part of the EXIT 82 family.
